The video is about the graduation speech by Steven Jobs in Stanford University, which mainly contains three smal stories. The first story told us how our experience may influence our life. And the second one told us something about our career. The last one is about death.
What impressed me most is the second story. When I first watched this video in my 18, I asked myself what would I do if I would die tomorrow. My first answer is to drop off all lessons and play computer games all day. At that time, I'm confused by this question because I cannot find the reason why it help us to find our ultimate goal. I just tried to forget this question in fear that I may leave university and play computer game every day.
After two years, I watched this video again in my third year in univerisy. This time I found something new. I realized that computer game is such a small part in one's life. At that time, my answer was to take the lessons as usual. There is an old Chinese motto:
If a man in the morning hear the right way, he may die in the evening without regret. I believed in that.
Now I'm in my 23 and it's the second year in my graduate program. I watched this video once more. I stare at my answer. Now I want to spend my last day with my wife and my parents. I know that may not be the ultimate answer to the question, even just for me.
The answers just changed during the life. And I believe we may not even be able to find the ultimate one. But just follow my heart and my current answer. That would be my advice to myself.
I believe I can make more comments about this question. But now I'm going to watch a movie with my girlfriend, which is also a new answer to this question.
